CareMatch at Home is a free non-medical home care matching service. We connect families with pre-screened, vetted in-home caregivers for companion care, personal care, senior care, and daily living support — right in your loved one’s home.

Welcome to CareMatch at Home (the “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website carematchhome.com and any related services, including our free non-medical home care matching platform. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Our Role as a Matching Agency Only

CareMatch at Home is an independent matching agency. We connect families seeking non-medical in-home care (companion care, personal care, daily living support, etc.) with pre-screened, vetted caregivers and providers in their local area.

Important limitations on matching:

  • We will provide up to a maximum of two (2) hand-curated, vetted caregivers/providers for you to choose from.
  • In some cases, due to availability, location, or specific care needs, only one caregiver/provider may be matched.
  • We do not employ, supervise, or control any caregivers. We are not a home care provider, staffing agency, or employer.
  • All care arrangements are made directly between you (the family) and the matched caregiver/provider.

We simply facilitate introductions. Once you are matched, you handle all scheduling, payment, contracts, and day-to-day care directly with the chosen provider.

2. Our Matching Process and “Two Max Promise”

  • You complete a short Care Finder Quiz (under 3 minutes) describing your loved one’s needs, location, and schedule.
  • Our team personally reviews your information and matches you with up to two pre-screened providers within 24–48 hours.
  • The Service is completely free for families — always. We are compensated only by our network of providers.
  • There is no obligation to proceed with any match.

3. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to form a binding contract. By using the Service, you represent that all information you provide (about yourself and your loved one) is accurate and complete.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Misrepresent your care needs or provide false information.
  • Attempt to circumvent the matching process or contact providers outside the Service without our involvement.
  • Harass, threaten, or act inappropriately toward any caregiver, provider, or CareMatch at Home staff.

4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

WE ARE A MATCHING PLATFORM ONLY. WE DO NOT PROVIDE, SUPERVISE, OR GUARANTEE ANY CAREGIVING SERVICES.

  • All caregivers and providers matched through CareMatch at Home are independent third parties.
  • We are not responsible for any acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, damages, injuries, losses, theft, property damage, personal harm, or any other issues arising from the care services provided by any matched caregiver or provider.
  • We make no warranties about the quality, suitability, reliability, or performance of any caregiver.
  • Background checks and vetting are performed to the best of our ability using information provided by caregivers and third-party services, but we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any vetting process.
  • YOU ASSUME ALL RISK associated with using the Service and any subsequent care arrangements.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARE MATCH AT HOME, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE OR ANY MATCHED CAREGIVER.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed $100 USD.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on carematchhome.com (text, logos, graphics, “Two Max Promise” branding, etc.) is owned by CareMatch at Home or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our written permission.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Texas.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
